Sketch Released of Aransas Pass Sexual Assault Suspect

Aransas Pass police are hoping to jog someone's memory about a sexual assault that happened last October. Authorities released a sketch of a suspect they say assaulted a woman walking along the 900 block of North Commercial. It happened around midnight on Oct. 2.

Police say the man began walking with the woman around the area of the Shamrock trailer park. After the suspect tried to spark up a conversation with the young woman, police say he brutally beat and raped her.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a grim reaper tattoo on his right chest area and a scar just below his neck. He had short, black hair and spoke with a Spanish accent.
