Special Fly Over to Honor a Local Business Owner who Passed Away

Local business owner Buddy Herin has passed away. It was just a few months ago when Herin made national headlines for a classic car he sold at an auction. Buddy Herin loved to collect classic cars including his rare 1967 Corvette. It was one of 12 cars that he sold at an auction in Dallas.

The car sold for $3.2 million dollars, making it the highest price ever paid for a corvette at auction.

Earlier this week, Buddy lost his battle against cancer.

At his burial on Saturday, there was a special fly over of 3 planes that Herin actually helped build himself. Herin owned Contractor Builders Supply.

He was 61 years old.
