Status Hearing for Officer-Involved Shooting Suspect Rescheduled

The man suspected of shooting and wounding two Corpus Christi police officers on March 20 was in Judge Missy Medary's court for a status hearing Tuesday morning.

However, that status hearing had to be pushed back until 9 a.m. Thursday because Nueces County District Attorney Mark Skurka said he had not yet been contacted by Magill's attorney.

Magill has been charged with two counts of attempted capital murder and one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. His bond has been set at $750,000.
