Suspect in Wednesday Night Strip Club Assault Turns Himself In

The suspect of an assault that took place at the Cabaret Men's Club on Leopard Street Wednesday evening turned himself in later that night.

40-year old Jerel Bradley showed up to the Corpus Christi Police Department's main police station on John Sartain at around 10:30 p.m. to turn himself in, and was arrested and transported to the City Detention Center.

It was around 8 p.m. Wednesday when officers responded to the strip club on the 5400 block of Leopard Street after hearing reports of a fight. When they arrived, a 38-year old man was not breathing and was in need of medical attention. A bystander was performing CPR, and medics arrived and were able to detect a pulse.

The victim was transported to Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital. At last report, the victim was in serious condition.

Witnesses said the victim was sitting in a chair when Bradley came up behind him and began hitting him. Bradley then fled the scene.
