Taft Dog Left for Dead is Now Healthy and Up for Adoption

Layla, a two-year old terrier mix that was left for dead in Taft in early July, is looking much happier nowadays. In fact, she's now up for adoption.

It was in early July when Layla was found in a Taft neighborhood with a wire tied around her neck causing deep gashes. Surgery was performed and now, Layla is happy and healthy.

If you would like to adopt Layla, just head over to the Gulf Coast Humane Society at 3118 Cabaniss Road and fill out an application.
