TAMUCC Quiz Bowl Pits Students Against Teachers

What better way for students to get to know their teachers than by competing against the. That was the purpose of something called the Quiz Bowl on the campus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

"The questions are a mix of engineering questions, math questions, physics, pop culture and a little bit of trivia," said Amanda Ibanez, ASME president.

This is the third year for the Quiz Bowl, which pits students against their teachers. Organizers said it is a fun way for students to stimulate their thinking and reflect on engineering concepts and subjects.

The winner receives a Kindle Fire.
