TAMUCC Students Represent Native Countries in Parade of Flags

A parade was held Monday on the campus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, but it wasn't for Veterans Day -- it was held to honor all different cultures, many of them represented on the campus.

They call it the Parade of Flags, and it was arranged as part of International Education Week. The idea was to give students the chance to walk through the campus with the flag of their native country.

The event was sponsored by the university's Office of International Education.
