Teacher, Administrator Suspended Pending Investigation Into Video

Some angry and frustrated parents showed up to the Corpus Christi Independent School District headquarters Monday morning demanding answers. The parents are upset about a recently released video that shows what they say is a teacher's improper conduct in the classroom at the Early Childhood Development Center.

The school district did confirm that Early Childhood Development Center Principal Susan Marie Luis was suspended with pay Monday pending an investigation into that video, and the teacher in the video had already been suspended and placed on paid administrative leave last week.

3News was able to obtain a copy of the video in question from the parents, who would not say who recorded the video. They say the teacher's actions in the video are inappropriate -- you be the judge.

Parents said they have previously complained to the teacher and the principal at the school, but nothing had been done. They also said complaints have been filed against the teacher in previous years, and they are angry at the school for leaving them in the dark.

The parents did say they were happy with the school, and are just upset with the teacher's methods.

Kiii News Reporter Anayeli Ruiz spent some time with the concerned parents Monday morning and came back with the details.
