(Corpus Christi, June 20, 2008) Tonight, police have made an arrest in that double shooting that left one man dead. The shooting happened Thursday afternoon.

The victim 31 year old Jose Luis Gomez was gunned down near Brownlee and 11th street. He was fatally shot in the chest.

One man has been arrested, Michael Pereda.

Police tell 3 News they expect to arrest of 2 more suspects.

Detectives were back at the crime scene, talking to witnesses and trying to piece together what happened.
