Rain and more rain was the call of the day when Dolly rammed ashore in the Valley on Wednesday afternoon. The day after in the Corpus Christi region are there were lots of flooded areas.

Oso Creek bulged to near it's banks around the South Staples bridge near Kings Crossing.

Water covered lots of the roadways in the Way Out Staples area, also flooding some farm lands. Some the roads made for dangerous crossing.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution when facing a flooded roadway. "Turn around, don't drown."
