Multiple guns, suspects, and victims, that's how police are describing a fatal shooting on the 2600 block of Segrest Street Friday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as 21 year old Danny Villarreal. The injured include another man, and three young children.

Neighbors say a large number of men drove up to the house, got out of their cars and began shooting non stop for several minutes with a large array of firearms.

Police say Villarreal was recently let out of prison. Other sources say the shoot out might be related to a drive by shooting that happened late Thursday night on Odem Street also in Corpus Christi.

Whatever the case, innocent children were hurt and witnessed the horrors of adults gone wild, solving whatever differences or disagreements with gunfire.

Nueces District Attorney, Carlos Valdez, showed up at the scene and his disgust over the violence was evident as he said that those responsible for the carnage would meet the full extent of the law.
