Two Arrested After Nearly Colliding with Nueces County Constable

A Nueces County constable's vehicle was almost hit a car at around 10 a.m. Monday while traveling on the Crosstown Expressway. The constable tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the vehicle that almost hit him fled the area, exiting Agnes.

The vehicle came to a stop on Morris Street and the two passengers got out of the car and ran. The Nueces County constable was able to arrest one of the individuals at the scene. The other individual fled the area and was arrested a short time later by Corpus Christi Police Department officers.

The vehicle the two men were driving was impounded by police.
