Two men are recovering in the hospital after thy were involved in an accident on I-37 and Nueces Bay Boulevard Thursday morning.

According to police, a silver Pontiac slammed into the back of a white car that was being loaded onto an Apollo Towing trailer. Debris from the crash struck the Apollo employee. The man in the silver car and the towing employee were both taken to Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital.

"There is a move-over law that applies also to the wreckers, which means that you have to move over to one lane or you have to slow your speed if you're going to remain in that lane," said Officer Richard Olden of the Corpus Christi Police Department. "In this case, the traffic was light. The driver could have moved over one, maybe even two lanes, to avoid this accident."
