Two Men Escape Rollover on Highway 44 Uninjured

A Corpus Christi man is crediting God for saving his life, along with coworker's, after they were both involved in a rollover accident just before 9:30 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 44.

"I veered off the road because I was nodding out, tired, and all of a sudden I woke up to screeching tires, and I was like, 'oh man,' and I tried to ride it as best I could. Once I hit that divider, and there we went," Michael Wayne Miller said. "Man, it was a miracle, man. That me and that old timer survived. By the grace of God, and the good roads of Texas, we made it."

Department of Public Safety troopers said both of the passengers inside of the sport utility vehicle were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident. No citations were issued.
