Harris County Judge Indicts Woman on Charges in Death of Husband

KIIITV News

HOUSTON (AP) - A Harris County grand jury has indicted a 66 year old suburban Houston woman on murder charges in the death of her husband nearly 23 years ago.

Carolyn Sue Krizan-Wilson maintains that she's innocent. The former Houston police finance employee had said a barefoot intruder killed Roy McCaleb and raped her. She's free on $30,000 bond.

The shooting took place at the couple's home in Galena Park. McCaleb's daughter Pam Nalley had urged authorities to re-examine the case yearly since 1985. A Houston police sergeant agreed to look at the case a few months ago.

Krizan-Wilson and McCaleb were married for less than two years. Nalley believes her father was killed because of the life insurance policy her stepmother took out on him.
