Woman Suspect Gunned Down by Authorities

Richard Longoria

SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas (AP) - A woman authorities were seeking
after the earlier shooting of a man was killed by authorities in
North Texas.

Trooper Jean Dark, a spokeswoman for the Texas Department of
Public Safety, says that after authorities located a vehicle linked
to the earlier shooting, the woman approached the officers with a
weapon near the town of Yantis and was shot.

Dark says she did not know the condition of the man who was shot
earlier or any other details.

She says the man was shot at a repair shop and residence near
Sulphur Springs, about 80 miles east of Dallas.
