Hostage Stand Off Going on in San Antonio

Richard Longoria

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - A man has barricaded himself in a San Antonio
home and is possibly holding a hostage.

San Antonio police have responded to the standoff with tactical
units and a SWAT team, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

A 911 call taker told The Associated Press that police were
investigating an assault that turned into a standoff after a man
locked himself in a room.

She said there were "still a lot of officers on the scene"
early Friday, but had no other details.
