INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - An Indianapolis woman has filed a civil rights lawsuit against the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant chain.

Michelle Boggs alleges her party was ordered to leave an Indianapolis Chuck E. Cheese when she complained about a manager's behavior toward black customers.

Court papers say the dispute arose over a manager's behavior during a birthday party for Boggs' one-year-old son at the restaurant. Boggs, who is black, alleged that the manager had ordered another black couple to leave and later apologized to white customers about the dispute.

The lawsuit says a confrontation also occurred between Boggs and the manager when she was billed for a birthday cake after she had provided one of her own. The manager then allegedly ordered her out of the restaurant when she said he seemed to have different attitudes toward white customers and black customers.

The lawsuit names the restaurant and Irving, Texas-based operator C-E-C Entertainment as defendants. A Chuck E. Cheese spokesman said he couldn't comment on the lawsuit, but the company had begun its own investigation.

Can't believe that discrimination still exist in some low life creature. Just think yourself why you discriminate people, because you are scared of him/her, you never want that person to be superior then you. But the fact is whenever you point finger to anyone three fingers will always point back to you. The point is you will have to pay the price sooner or latter. Good Luck Mr Restaurant Manager…..
