LEONARD, Texas (AP) - Federal and local investigators are looking for leads to whomever bombed a police patrol car in the small North Texas town of Leonard.

Police Chief Rex Clark says two bombs exploded in the car parked outside the officer's home in the pre-dawn hours yesterday -- just after the officer had gone off duty.

No injuries were reported in the explosions that destroyed the car. Clark wouldn't say whether they have any suspects or possible motives in mind.

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is helping Leonard police and the Fannin County Sheriff's Department with the investigation.

Leonard is a town of about 21-hundred residents 50 miles northeast of Dallas.
