CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico (AP) - Mexican authorities suspect hit men
allied with the Ciuidad Juarez drug cartel carried out two ambushes
that killed a U.S. couple and a Mexican man.

Police aren't saying a possible motive in the slayings in
Juarez, across the border from El Paso. The victims were at the
same party before the attacks Saturday.

The U.S. consulate in Juarez is closed today for a Mexican
national holiday. The complex also will be closed tomorrow as part
of the mourning.

The consulate employee and her husband were shot in their car
near the Santa Fe International bridge. An infant in their vehicle
wasn't hurt.

Relatives identify the slain couple as Lesley A. Enriquez and
Arthur H. Redelfs. He was a detention officer at the El Paso County
Jail.

The other victim, Jorge Alberto Salcido Ceniceros, was shot to
death in his car. His two children were wounded.

We dont need Mexico for a thing. Close the border in both directions. Send back every illegal we can get our hands on and shoot to kill any trying to come accross. Time to quit screwing around with these pieces of brown garbage !!! And if the legals here don't like it and don't support U S laws then go back accross the river with their relatives.

The death penalty for all drug dealers here in the UNITED STATES no matter how big or small will diminish the importation , sells , distribution & use of drugs.Launch an all out military war on MEXICO & its corrupted government & their drug cartels.Close the borders & STOP ALL immigrants coming into the USA,give the illeagal mexicans 30days to get out of here or get executed.PROBLEM SOLVED BREAK OUT THE BIG GUNS ON THESE ROACHES!Our citizens are tired of these TERRORIST & THE PROPER ACTION NEEDS TO BE TAKEN AGAINST MEXICO TO RESOLVE THIS SERIOUS ISSUE. I;m sure the united nations will agree.

7,000 people were murdered by the Mexican drug cartels last year because we in the US kept marijuana illegal, many of the victims were children, police officers and politicians. This year the cartels are on track to kill at least 9,000 more. Who supports keeping it illegal?

Natural Gas

Should the city of Corpus Christi privatize its natural gas system or keep it under city ownership?

  • Yes. Sell it and let private business run it.
  • No. Keep it as a city department.
  • I don't know.
