Winter Weather Advisory In Effect Until Noon Friday

The National Weather Service has issued a "Winter Weather Advisory" that will be in effect until 12 Noon Friday. Temperatures have fallen to slightly below freezing which has resulted in light freezing rain and drizzle to develop.

Elevated surfaces like bridges and over-passes could become slick, resulting in dangerous traveling conditions. The NWS says some primary roads could develop a glaze of ice.

Live Oak, Bee, Goliad, Victoria, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, San Patricio, Aransas, Refugio, and Calhoun counties are all included in the advisory. Use caution when traveling during the early morning commute
