A 63-year old Corpus Christi woman who was killed in an early morning car accident along Morgan near Port has been identified.
Authorities say just before 2 a.m., Maria Teresa Hernandez, lost control of her car and flipped, partially ejecting herself.
Lieutenant Lauren White says the car ended up in the Bonilla parking lot after striking several objects first.
"It hit an electrical pole. It hit a fire hydrant and it also hit a tree," White said. power was not affected in the area.
Lieutenant White says she was not wearing a seatbelt.
