Work Begins Again on North Beach Welcoming Archway

After a quick pause, work has begun again on an archway that will welcome visitors to North Beach.

City workers and Barcom contractors were getting the ground ready at Burleson and Timon Wednesday. A little over a month ago, the work was put on hold after crews began digging down into the sand and found a number of underground PVC pipes about four-feet down.

The pipes were not supposed to be there, so the City is now rerouting those utility lines. The project should be completed in about two months.
