World Ocean Day Celebrated at the Texas State Aquarium

Did you know today is World Ocean's Day.  What better place to learn all about our oceans than right here at the Texas State Aquarium!  June 8th is the day that zoos and aquariums all across the country aim to raise awareness about protecting the ocean.
Some of the things wildlife experts say you can do to help is by supporting clean energy choices and picking up trash you might see while you are at the beach.
Kara Hahn with the Texas State Aquarium told 3 News, "we really want to show people how awesome our oceans are and the cool things about our oceans, but then get kids to participate in activities so they can figure out how to protect the ocean which is becoming a very important topic."
Students from Moody High School were also on hand to show off their ROV Robot which can go underwater with a camera to explore the ocean and sea life.
