  • Sports Blitz Is The Best Sports Blitz Is The Best
    9-21-07)

It seems everywhere I go, all I hear is how great the Friday Night
Sports Blitz is. No one seemed to know me until the Blitz or at least
it seems that way. But that's a-o.k. with me because I am very proud
of what the Friday Night Sports Blitz has become. Other tv stations
try to copy but can never duplicate what we have been able to create.

The "BLITZ" is 30 minutes of heart pounding high school football action
at its best. That's exactly what south texas likes and i think we deliver
with a 99 yard touchdown pass every time.

But without our photographers, the "BLITZ'' is just another highlight
show. Our guys get the action no one else gets. One of the most
popular segments of the show is "sounds of the game".
In fact, it's my personal favorite. Our loyal viewers get to see and hear what goes on down on the sidelines. Of course we can't show everything
but what we do show is very interesting. Emotion and play calling is
    always fun to watch.

I can't wait to see what happens tonight, so be sure and tune in at
10:30 and check out what everyone in south texas is talking about.
  • Football Season is Finally Here! Football Season is Finally Here!
    (8-29-07)

Practice is great but i am ready for some games. I can't wait
for Thursday's "official" opening of the high school season. King
travels to Gregory-Portland for what should be a good game. The
Mustangs should be improved and the Wildcats are definitly
ready to show all of south texas they are back.

GP returns ten starters on offense and six more on defense.
They are my early favorite to win the district championship. Coach
George Harris is really excited about this team. He told me that
his offensive line will be among the best in south texas. I would
not be surprised to see the Wildcats win at least seven or
    eight regular season games.

Meanwhile, the blood is pumping overtime for the start of the
Friday Night Sports Blitz. Our game of the week is Falfurrias
at West Oso. These are two proud programs with some
of the best fans. Of course we'll have highlights of least
ten other games. So the countdown continues to one of
the biggest nights of the season.
