The Miller Boys and GP girls won District 30-4A Golf titles today in competition at the Gabe Lozano Golf Center in Corpus Christi.

Miller was again paced by the Cavazos brothers, who finishing 1-2-3 in medalist competition.

Sophomore Eric Cavazos shot a 36-hole total of 145 while brothers Vince and Vance played off their tie for second. Vance, who is a junior at Miller, beat senior Vince in the playoff.

GP wound up 34 strokes behind the Bucs and will advance with Miller to the Region IV Tournament later this month in San Antonio.

In girls' competition GP won the overall team title with Moody's Kat Lira winning girls' medalist honors today.
