Hogs Fall to SE OK. at LSC Baseball Tournament 3 to 0
(5-4-08) Abilene – The Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas got a solid complete game performance from senior pitcher Josh Livingston (Corpus Christi Moody), but the Javelina offense was silenced in a 3-0 loss to Southeastern Oklahoma in round two of the Lone Star Conference Postseason Tournament. The loss dropped the Javelinas to 28-29 and will play the loser of the Cameron and Central Oklahoma contest Monday at 11:00 a.m. in an elimination contest. Livingston struck out three, walked just one and allowed only three earned runs over nine innings, but was out-dueled by Southeastern’s Luis Estrella who limited the Hogs to just five hits while striking out seven and walking none. Will Alexander extended his hit streak to seven games with a double and Chase Myrick added two hits. Sean Johnson |
