COASTAL REPORTS

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds. Flounder are good on red shad plastics on the Louisiana shoreline. Redfish are good in the marsh on topwaters and spoons near Black's Bayou.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the Reef on live shrimp and red shad and pumpkinseed Bass Assassins and Norton Sand Eels. Redfish are good on cracked crabs at the jetty. Trout are beginning to show around Sabine Pass.

BOLIVAR: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the Bolivar shoreline on topwaters and red shad and glow/chartreuse Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Bull redfish are good on the beachfront.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are fair to good at Hodges Reef on live shrimp under a popping cork and black Bass Assassins, Stanley Wedgetails, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Redfish are beginning to show in the middle of the bay.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair on the south shoreline on Corkies, topwaters and red shad Bass Assassins and Norton Sand Eels. Trout are fair to good on free-lined live shrimp on Hannas Reef and Deep Reef.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the south shoreline on topwaters and red shad Bass Assassins, Trout Killers, Stanley Wedgetails and Sand Eels. Bull redfish and black drum are good on the jetty on crabs and cut-bait.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good at night under the lights from the dike on live shrimp and glow/chartreuse plastics. Sand trout, whiting and redfish are fair to good on fresh dead shrimp.

FREEPORT: Redfish and sheepshead are fair to good in Oyster Creek on fresh dead shrimp. Redfish are fair to good at San Luis Pass on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair to good while drifting shell and mud in Christmas Bay.

EAST MATAGORDA: Trout are fair to good on the shorelines on red shad and pepper/chartreuse Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Norton Sand Eels. Redfish are good along protected shorelines on live shrimp. Trout are good while drifting shell on live shrimp.

MATAGORDA: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the south shoreline of West Bay on pepper/chartreuse, pumpkinseed/chartreuse and red shad Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Norton Sand Eels. Redfish are good on topwaters and live shrimp under a popping cork in Oyster Lake. Best bite has been in the afternoon on the incoming tide.

PORT O'CONNOR: Trout and redfish are fair to good around the Grass Island on live shrimp under a popping cork. Redfish are good around the jetty on shrimp. Trout have been on grass and mud.

ROCKPORT: Trout and redfish are fair to good on live shrimp in the holes on the Estes Flats. Trout and redfish are fair to good on the protected shorelines of Aransas Bay and St. Charles Bay on Corkies and soft plastics.

PORT ARANSAS: Redfish are fair at Shamrock Cove on live shrimp. Large gafftop and black drum are fair to good from the piers at night on fresh dead shrimp.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Sand trout, whiting and black drum are fair to good off the piers and around the rocks on live shrimp. Trout and reds are fair to good around the spoils on Gulps and topwaters.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout and black drum are fair to good in the Land Cut on live shrimp under a popping cork. Trout and redfish are fair to good for waders on the King Ranch shoreline on live shrimp and topwaters. Trout are fair to good at Rocky Slough on topwaters and Bass Assassins.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout and flounder are fair to good on the grass near the Intracoastal on Super Spooks and black soft plastics. Sheepshead, whiting and sand trout are good at the jetty on shrimp. Wahoo, dolphin, kingfish and snapper are good offshore.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout and redfish are fair to good in South Bay and the Ship Channel on live shrimp and red shad Trout Killers, Sand Eels, Stanley Wedgetails and Bass Assassins. Trout are good on topwaters at Holly Beach.

PORT ISABEL: Redfish are good on live shrimp at Airport Cove. Trout, redfish and black drum are fair to good at the Gas Well Flats on live shrimp and black Trout Killers, Sand Eels and Bass Assassins. Warmer temperatures have helped the topwater bite.
