CORPUS CHRISTI -- Shortstop Wladimir Sutil, outfielders Drew Locke and Collin DeLome and pitchers Polin Trinidad and Douglas Arguello have been voted to the Texas League South Division All-Star Team, league president Tom Kayser announced Tuesday.

The North and South All-Stars meet at Frisco's Dr Pepper Ballpark on Wednesday, July 1.

Sutil and Locke were voted into the starting lineup by league field managers, radio announcers and beat writers. DeLome made the squad as a reserve outfielder. Arguello won't participate due to injury.

Sutil (.311/1/20) is a defensive wizard in the tradition of former Hooks Ben Zobrist, Edwin Maysonet, Osvaldo Fernando and Tommy Manzella. The second-year Hook is 14th among TL hitters and has an on-base percentage of .402.

Locke (.349/10/61), playing at the Double-A level for the first time, leads the league in runs batted in and is fifth in hitting. His .550 slugging percentage stands second.

DeLome (.263/13/32) tops TL players in home runs.

Arguello and Trinidad are the longest-tenured Corpus Christi players in the Houston organization, having signed as free agents in December of 2001 and June of 2002, respectively.

Arguello is 2-3 with a team-best 3.29 ERA, Trinidad one of five TL pitchers with a league-best six victories.
