Former Carroll High School golfer Matt Loving was killed on Friday afternoon when his suburban hit a school bus in rural Karnes County, just south of Runge. The sudden death of the 30-year-old budding professional golfer has stunned many in the South Texas golfing community.

I have always been impressed with Matt in so many ways...he was a positive influence on a lot of peoples lives and had truely cared for those around him...we will miss you!

I met Matt recently at a charity event. I could immediately tell he was a great guy with a big heart. I know he will be greatly missed.
