Busch wins at Sonoma

SONOMA, Calif. (AP) - Kyle Busch snapped the brief slump that's
plagued him the past two weeks, racing to his first Sprint Cup
Series win on a road course to win the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at
Infineon Raceway.
Busch had a poor qualifying run and started 30th. But he
steadily moved through the field and grabbed the lead from
defending race winner Juan Pablo Montoya on an early restart.
It was Busch's series-best fifth win of the season, and 11th
overall spanning all three of NASCAR's top series. It also was his
second road course victory of the season. He won the Nationwide
Series race in Mexico City in April.
David Gilliland ran second at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 race for
his best finish of the year. Jeff Gordon finished third, followed
by Clint Bowyer and Casey Mears.
Kyle Busch increased his season points driving lead to 103
points over Jeff Burton. Busch is 152 points ahead of Dale
Earnhardt Junior.
