Texas' D'Onta Foreman Declares for NFL Draft

Foreman will forgo his senior season with the Longhorns to enter the NFL Draft. The Texas junior is expected to be a first round pick.

AUSTIN (KIII SPORTS) - Texas Longhorns' prolific junior running back D'Onta Foreman officially declared for the NFL Draft today, forgoing his senior season at UT.
Foreman is currently the nation's leading rusher at over 2,000 yards and is projected to be a mid-to-late first round pick.
Foreman was close to former Texas Coach Charlie Strong, but said his firing and the subsequent hiring of Tom Herman had no impact on his decision to go pro.
