Sinton Head Coach Tom Allen To Be Treated For Multiple System Atrophy

Tom Allen to be treated for MSA

Sinton head football coach Tom Allen will miss his first game in ten years at the helm of the Pirates this week. Allen will be traveling to Minnesota to undergo tests for a rare neurological disease called Multiple System Atrophy.

MSA shares many symptoms with Parkinson's Disease. There is no known cure, only treatment for symptoms.

His Pirates face longtime rival Robstown on Friday. Defensive coordinator Swift Fletcher will act as head coach in Allen's absence.
