Calallen Baseball Coach Suspended by UIL

The University Interscholastic League today suspended Calallen baseball coach Steve Chapman for the first three district games of the 2009 season. Chapman was also issued a public reprimand and put on an extended probation for not filing accurate eligibility forms during the Wildcats' run to the State Championship last spring. Today's ruling will not have an effect on Calallen's championship.
