HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Astros will open the 2009 season at
home April 6 against the Chicago Cubs.
The Astros on Wednesday released next year's home schedule.
Houston's interleague schedule includes hosting the Texas
Rangers during Memorial Day weekend, May 22-24, plus Kansas City
June 23-25 and Detroit June 26-28.
The Arizona Diamondbacks will visit Minute Maid Park on Aug.
21-23.
The Astros will play two home weekend series against the
Cincinnati Reds, April 17-20 and Sept. 25-27.
