You can see Dan McReynolds, and his sportscast, every weekday on Three News at Six and Ten with Joe Gazin and Bill Vessey. When Dan is not covering South Texas sports, he likes to read, write, workout, travel, swim and hang out at the beach.

Born in Visalia, California, just 4 days apart from news anchor Joe Gazin who was also born in southern California; Dan moved to Corpus Christi as a kid and grew up here. Dan graduated from King High School, then attended Texas A&M University in College Station and worked as a radio announcer for WTAW Radio. Dan spent his summers during college on the radio in Corpus Christi, and after graduating from Texas A&M with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Dan returned to Corpus Christi to work for KSIX Radio and was eventually hired by KIIITV3 as an audio operator. Dan left KIIITV3 in 1977 for North Carolina where he worked for WGHP-TV covering NASCAR and for ABC Sports as a play-by-play announcer for college football and basketball.

Dan returned home to Corpus Christi in 1985, as a sportscaster for KIIITV3, also pursuing his masters degree in English at Corpus Christi State University, now known as Texas A&M Corpus Christi, where Dan earned his degree and is currently an instructor.

Community involvement is important to Dan as well. Dan served as past president for the youth sports network, he is a longtime board member of the Ronald McDonald house of Corpus Christi, a board member of El Socorro, a volunteer at Wilson Elementary School and a student mentor for C.C.I.S.D.

Dan is a 6 time Best of the Best winner and loves the great people, water and warm weather in South Texas. send message

The Easter Bunny making that special delivery today from a helicopter up above. All of the fun happening at the Church of Hope in Calallen Sunday morning.
