CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - It is not a done deal yet, but state lawmakers are looking to cut the state education budget by about 13 percent. It is forcing many school districts to get creative.
Creative, and in some cases brutal, 3 News has learned that the West Oso ISD will be laying off at least 20 teachers. The official letters hand delivered by the superintendent. In the letters, West Oso school district super intendent Michael Sandroussi says the cuts include first year probationary teachers.
