Jessica is the Kiii-TV weekend evening and late night newscast anchor. She was raised in College Station and received her degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Texas. While attending college she worked at WFAA-TV in Dallas and was an anchor, reporter and producer for a local cable news station.
Professionally, she has worked as an anchor and reporter at KBTX-TV in Waco and KTAL-TV in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Jessica lived in London in 2005 during a terrorist attack there. She says that gave her a deep appreciation for America and changed her perspective on life.
Jessica has also received awards from the Texas Associated Press.
She is thrilled now to live in Corpus Christi and loves living near the beach. In her own words: "I became a journalist for several reasons; to connect with people, to share people's stories with the community, and to share the community's stories with people. I can't think of anything better than traveling to different places, meeting people, and learning about new things every single day, and then getting the opportunity to share that experience with others. That's what I love about this job."
