College For Kids Summer Program at Texas A&M Kingsville

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) – Marilu Salazar with the College for Kids program at Texas A&M University Kingsville joins John Thomas on Thursday's 3 News First Edition to talk about their program.

Every summer parents have to look for activities for their children once school is out. Texas A&M Kingsville has a program designed to combine fun and education.

Salazar says they try to maintain a balance of activities for the children. There are many academic classes such as math and english; also they have fun classes like Zumba and Yogo for kids. Registration for College for Kids has already begun.

College for Kids is for grades 6 through 8. It starts on July 5, 2011 and run through July 28, 2011 at Texas A&M University Kingsville.
