Three arrested on grand jury indictments

HENDERSON COUNTY -- On November 8, 2011, three people from the Henderson and Rusk County area were arrested on warrants handed down from the most recent grand jury session (Rusk County).

Members of the Henderson Police Department (Narcotics Unit and the Criminal Investigation Division), the U. S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force (Tyler) , the Rusk County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit and the North Texas High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force (Tyler) teamed up to serve the warrants. There were a total of eight warrants issued and three subjects were arrested and transported to the Rusk County Justice Center.

Those that were not arrested are still being sought by the officers. The operation resulted from several months of investigation of drug activity in the Henderson and Rusk County area. The arrest teams were made up of officers from local, county, state and federal agencies in the East Texas area. In addition to the warrants from indictments additional warrants were served on each individual. The subjects that were arrested are as follows (photos attached):

Sabrien V. Walton- B/M age 36, taken into custody at his residence on Wilson St. in Henderson for Manufacturing/ Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone (bond set at $50,000)

Andrian I. Garrett- B/M age 29, taken into custody at his residence on Worth St. in Henderson for Possession of a Controlled Substance (bond set at $25,000), additional warrants served include Possession of Marijuana, operate an unregistered motor-vehicle, no driver's license (2x), failure to appear and expired vehicle registration.

Rodney D. Lacy- B/M age 26, taken into custody at his residence located at his residence on S. H. Hwy 64 west of Henderson for Possession of a Controlled Substance (bond denied) and Manufacturing/ Delivery of a Controlled Substance (bond set at $15,000), additional warrant for Assault with Bodily Injury.
