Local Native Americans March for Ancestors

Posted: Updated:

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -  If you drove down Ennis Joslin this weekend, you might have passed by a slew of people marching along the roadway, but do you know why?  Some local Native Americans marched 2 and a half miles.  It was part of the 8th annual blessing of sacred grounds.  The walk ended at the second largest ancient Indian burial ground in the state of Texas.  The group is trying to relocate their late family members to that site.  The march is part of their efforts to do so.
