Students to Receive Awards at Science Fair

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - K-12 students from 30 area school districts will display their projects during the 24th annual Coastal Bend Regional Science Fair on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. at the American Bank Center exhibit hall.

The fair is the regional competition for kindergarten through high school students who have competed in science fairs in their school districts. Exhibits will be categorized by grade with approximately 650 students competing for ribbons and medals. Award winners will be announced during a ceremony beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The Coastal Bend Regional Science Fair is co-hosted by Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Del Mar College. Judging will be done by scientists, engineers, faculty members, educators, college science students and community members with expertise in science.
