Some special visitors to Corpus Christi Independent School District's Gloria Hicks Elementary Wednesday.
They came in the form volunteers from H-E-B and Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.
The volunteers were there to support the Junior Achievement Program and to take the place of teachers, for just one day, to lead lessons on free enterprise, business and economic principles.
About 700 Gloria Hicks' students, from kindergarten through 5th grade benefited from these fun and academic lessons.
