Beaumont police are looking for a man who pointed a gun at a store clerk during a robbery Thursday night.

Police say it happened around 9:30 p.m. at the Rand Oil #4 Texaco located at 1110 11th St. in Beaumont.

Police have reviewed video from the store's security cameras.

Officers say the clerk was in the back of the store stocking merchandise in the cooler when a man with a gun in his right hand went behind the register and tried to open the drawer. He then noticed the clerk in the back room.  He walked up and pointed the gun at her.  He ordered her to open the drawer.

Police say the robber put the gun down on the counter top, took all of the money out of the drawer and the clerk's purse.  He then fled.
