Occurred on 5/3/12, 08:35 am Burglary 1446 Tompkins
Officer R. Soliz was called to the residence for a burglary and during his investigation the Officer was able to put together some leads on a possible suspect who lived nearby. The suspect(s) had removed the air conditioning unit and entered the apartment. A flat screen television, an Xbox 360, and a couple of games were stolen.
A nearby neighbor living at 1436 Tompkins was suspected of committing the burglary and contacted. With the assistance of Officer E. Kearney and Property Crimes Detective V. Trujillo the stolen X-Box 360 and games were recovered.
Thomas Scott, 26, was found to be wanted and arrested. He was charged with the outstanding Parole Violation warrant for Robbery and booked at the City Detention Center.
