Fire Ignites at Valero West Plant

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) -

Emergency crews were called to Valero West plant just before noon Wednesday to battle a small fire.

Officials say a butane leak ignited into flames but the fire department put it down quickly.

No injuries were reported, but one refinery firefighter was taken to the hospital with heat exhaustion.
