Police Search for Stolen Inflatable Gorilla

Corpus Christi Police are looking for the individuals that stole a $15,000 inflatable gorilla from a car dealership Sunday afternoon.

The manager of the Sales lot told police that an inflatable gorilla was taken without permission Sunday. The managers saw three people load the inflatable gorilla into a white Chevy Avalanche at about 3:45pm and were last seen on South Padre Island Drive toward Weber.

The gorilla has "Stop N Save" across the chest and is valued at $15,000. Anyone who has any additional information about this crime should call police or call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS (8477).
