Children's Miracle Network Telethon

Posted: Updated:

CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) - Are you ready? Final preps are underway for Saturday's big telethon benefiting Driscoll Children's Hospital. This is our 28th year hosting the "LIVE" event.

The Children's Miracle Network Celebration begins Saturday at 7:00pm as we again team up with the folks at Driscoll to bring you touching stories of children who have overcome tremendous challenges.

We'll be broadcasting "LIVE" from La Palmera Mall, allowing you to come and join us for the first time this year.

Last year, you helped us raise more than $2.5 million for the kids.

The Driscoll Children's Hospital Chairman of the Governing Board, Loyd Neal said, "The important thing is all these funds stay here locally. Driscoll Children's hospital is a safety net for children in South Texas. We serve children everywhere and what a great opportunity for this community to come to the rescue of a lot of sick children."

Every dollar you donate stays right here to help kids in South Texas. You can watch it all right here on KIII-TV. We'll even have a free concert with country singer J.R. Castillo at 8:00pm.

Come out and support the Children's Miracle Network.
