Port Arthur firefighters battled another vacant house fire Monday night.
The latest arson happened at an abandoned home in the 2900 block of Rosedale in Griffing park. Firefighters say the two-story home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived around 5:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.
On Sunday, another fire was deliberately set at a vacant home in the 1000 block of Trinity Avenue. The call came in to dispatchers a little after 8 p.m.
Investigators urge residents who may have noticed anything to contact police so they can prevent more of these fires that could result in injuries.
