CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii Sports) - The Hooks are partying like it's 2009 after former Texas League batting champ Drew Locke hit his second grand slam in as many nights to help complete a four-game sweep of the San Antonio Missions with the 10-6 win.

Locke was re-signed as a free agent by the Astros late last week after releasing him from Triple-A Oklahoma city before the season. Locke's bomb Wednesday gave the Hooks the 7-4 lead as part of a seven-run 8th inning.

Corpus Christi has now won seven straight games as they head to Frisco with a chance to come back and win the first half standings. The hooks trail the RoughRiders by four games with six to play in the first half of the season.

Former Astro Jeff Kent was on hand to meet the Hooks fans and to throw out the first pitch. The second baseman only played 2 out of his 17 seasons with the Astros, but his time in Houston was remembered by most for his walk-off homerun against the Cardinals in Game 5 of the NLCS to give the Astros the 3-2 series lead.

The Astros would go on to lose the series in seven games and Kent would leave as a free agent.
